Abstract:
This compilation of real-world antifungal therapy case studies documents the clinical efficacy of a combination regimen featuring Sertaconazole, Terbinafine, Amorolfine, and adjunct therapies (brand: Zorbax). Across multiple dermatology centers, patients with tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, onychomycosis, chronic and recurrent dermatophytosis, and steroid-modified fungal infections were evaluated. The case studies demonstrate that early diagnosis, correct antifungal selection, and optimized treatment duration significantly improve clinical outcomes in the era of recalcitrant dermatophytosis. Patients showed marked improvement in erythema, scaling, pruritus, maceration, and nail dystrophy, with several cases achieving complete clinical clearance. The observed outcomes reinforce the importance of rational, evidence-based antifungal therapy supported by patient compliance, hygiene measures, and avoidance of topical steroid misuse. All treatments were well tolerated, with no significant adverse events reported, highlighting the safety and clinical reliability of the antifungal agents used. This case series underscores the growing relevance of dermatophyte management protocols and the real-world utility of modern antifungal formulations in India.
