Salisia KT – Real-world dermatologist experience booklet

Abstract: 

This real-world clinical insights booklet consolidates feedback from 500 dermatologists across India on the effectiveness, tolerability, and patient experience with Ketoconazole 2% + Salicylic Acid 2% (Salisia KT) shampoo in managing seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. Dermatologists reported high patient satisfaction, with over 95% clinicians rating the combination as highly effective, particularly in reducing itching, flaking, and recurrence in patients aged 12–50 years. The most common reason for dissatisfaction with OTC anti-dandruff shampoos was poor efficacy (62.69%), underscoring the need for advanced formulations. More than 85% of dermatologists rated Salisia KT as excellent or good for controlling symptoms, and 67.52% recommended pairing it with a conditioner to minimize dryness, improve hair texture, and enhance scalp health.
